Postwar military Jeeps evolved beyond the MB through waterproofed M38s, the rounded M38A1, ambulance M170, independent-suspension M151, and full-size M715 family.

The military succession was not simply a string of civilian CJs in olive paint; voltage, waterproofing, chassis, and body details changed for service requirements.
M151 is related history, not brand ownership
Ford designed the MUTT and several companies produced it. It belongs in the tactical lineage but should not be silently presented as a Jeep-branded product.
M715 went full size
The Kaiser Jeep M715 and M725 adapted the Gladiator/J-series idea to military truck and ambulance duty.
