From Universal Jeep to Scrambler
The CJ line translated wartime utility into agriculture, recreation, and eventually the wider, more road-friendly CJ-7 and long-wheelbase CJ-8 Scrambler.
CJ-2A changed the mission
A tailgate, side-mounted spare, taller windshield, and T-90 transmission made the first civilian production version more useful off the battlefield.
