Mark Allen
Allen is the design throughline behind many Moab concepts and modern production programs; the current biography remains an open research target.
“An open research target: the throughline behind two decades of Moab concept vehicles deserves a fuller biography than this archive has assembled yet.”
The design chief behind Moab's one-offs
Allen led or contributed to a large share of the Jeep design studio's Easter Jeep Safari concept vehicles across the 2010s and 2020s, including the Mopar Underground J-12 pickup concept (2012), a tribute to the classic J-series Gladiator and Honcho trucks.
What is still missing
This archive does not yet have a sourced account of Allen's earlier career, how he came to lead the studio, or his specific design philosophy beyond what individual concept-vehicle coverage documents in passing. Flagged as an open research thread rather than padded with unsupported claims.
